Delete Your Account
SDE Studio One · 2600TECH I.T. SERVICES · Effective 26 July 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your SDE Studio One account and the data associated with it. SDE Studio One is published by 2600TECH I.T. SERVICES. The same account is used by SDE Studio Desktop, so deleting it removes your access to both.
You can request deletion in two ways: from inside the app, or by email if you can no longer sign in. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it cannot be undone. If you want to keep any of your photos, videos, or finished videos, download them before you start.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open SDE Studio One and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- On the events list (the home screen), tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- On the Security screen, tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm. Your account and its data are removed as described below, and you are signed out straight away.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
- Email support@sde-studio.com from the email address on your account — we use this to verify that the request is really yours.
- Use the subject line “Account deletion request”.
- We may ask one or two questions to confirm your identity if we cannot match the address to an account.
- We will delete the account and confirm by email within 7 days of verifying the request.
Cancel your subscription separately. If you subscribed through Google Play, deleting your account ends your access but does not cancel the subscription or stop future charges. Google is the only party that can do that. Cancel it in the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions before or after deleting your account. Subscriptions bought on iOS must likewise be cancelled in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings.
What is deleted
The following are deleted permanently and immediately when the request is processed:
- Your account and profile — email address, display name, avatar, and password.
- Sign-in data — active sessions, two-factor authentication settings, and any pending verification or password-reset codes.
- Every event you created, together with everything on it: uploaded photos, videos and audio, the event timeline and settings, and any rendered or exported videos. The underlying files are removed from our storage.
- Your memberships and guest sessions — your place on other people’s events, guest access tied to your device, and any desktop handoff (SDE Bridge) sessions you created.
- Your subscription entitlement — the record that grants you paid features. Your paid access ends at once (see the note above about cancelling the subscription itself).
What is transferred, not deleted
If you contributed to an event that someone else owns, that material belongs to their project and is not destroyed when you leave:
- Photos and videos you uploaded to another person’s event, and any videos you rendered there, are transferred to that event’s owner. They stay on that event; your name is no longer attached to them.
This prevents your deletion from erasing part of another customer’s work. If you want specific uploads removed from an event you do not own, delete them in the app before deleting your account, or ask that event’s owner.
What is retained, and for how long
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Financial and transaction records — purchase and refund records, and the order or transaction identifiers supplied by Google Play, Apple or PayPal. Desktop licence records are kept, but your email address is stripped from them when your account is deleted; only the order reference, product and status remain. Records we received from a payment provider are stored as they were received, so a provider’s own record of a purchase may still contain the address you paid with. | Required for tax, accounting and audit purposes, and to handle refunds, chargebacks and subscription disputes. | 10 years, as required of businesses in the Philippines by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (Revenue Regulations No. 17-2013, as amended). Then deleted. |
| Security and audit logs — records of significant actions, with the link to your account removed. | Security, fraud and abuse prevention, and investigating incidents. | Kept only while needed for those purposes. These records are de-identified at the moment of deletion — they no longer identify you. |
| Anonymous aggregate statistics — counts and totals such as how many events were rendered. | Understanding and improving the service. | Indefinitely. This data contains no personal information and cannot be traced back to you. |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not keep your content after deletion for any purpose other than those listed above. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
